In Florida, Representative Michelle Rehwinkel Vasilinda (D-9) introduced a bill in the 2014 session that urges Congress to order the Secretary of U.S. Department of Homeland Security to ensure we are taking the necessary steps to protect the U.S. from a serious EMP event, and that we have the resources readily available to recover from a potential EMP attack.
