EMPact America has a continued presence in Washington, D.C., meeting with legislators on Capitol Hill to advance our message, and hosting a series of events to advocate for the strengthening of the power grid. EMPact America helped launch a Congressional EMP Caucus and has developed a House Homeland Security Committee (HHSC) partnership.  The EMP Caucus and HHSC has wholly embraced our cause and drafted legislative initiatives originating from EMPact’s ideas and proposed draft bill language.

EMPact America’s panel discussions have included former U.N. Ambassador John R. Bolton, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, and former Director of Central Intelligence R. James Woolsey.
