Held at the National Press Club in Washington DC, EMPact America organized an event that highlighted one of the potential ways an EMP could threaten the United States. Drawing comparisons to President John F. Kennedy’s handling of the Cuban missile crisis, EMPact America hosted an expert panel to discuss how President Obama could better handle the developing nuclear crisis in Iran and the Middle East. The panel included John Bolton, former Ambassador to the United Nations; Lt. General (Ret) Thomas McInerny, Frank Gaffney, President of the Center for Security Policy; and Morton Klein, President of the Zionist Organization of America.

On February 6th, 2014, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), Ambassador and former Director of Central Intelligence R. James Woolsey, and Center for Security Policy’s Frank Gaffney hosted a panel discussion entitled, “American Security and the Iranian Bomb: Analyzing Threats at Home and Abroad.” The panel addressed implications for American security—at home and abroad—following the nuclear agreement with Iran, which took effect on January 20, 2014. The panel provided a candid assessment of the agreement, its consequences, and the urgent threats the deal poses to America. The event can be viewed here:

On March 6th, 2014, EMPact America and Breitbart News hosted a conference entitled: The Uninvited II: The National Security Action Summit. The purpose of the conference was to highlight important national security discussions that have been left out of this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
From red lines in Syria, to reset buttons in Russia, to Al Qaeda takeovers in Iraq, this Administration’s national security policies have been an abject failure. EMPact America, through the National Security Action Summit and ongoing efforts, is leading the charge to ensure important discussions about our national security remain front and center.
